The advantage of payment terminals linked to Mercator
The amount to be paid by bank card is automatically sent by Mercator to the terminal, without manual entry. A strong point to avoid errors at the checkout: incorrect amount entered, confusion between cash and payment, … and above all a saving of time!
The type of card used by your customer (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Bancontact, etc.) is also directly recognized by the terminal, which informs Mercator. Thus, the payment received is always well classified among the different payment methods that you manage.
