Mercator engines

Mercator was programmed in such a way that the interface is separate from the software's "engines". This enables you, as programmers, to use the functions of the Mercator's engines.

Mercator is made up of five main engines:

In business management:

  • The BillingEngine: for all business management documents
  • The TransferEngine: for deposit transfers
  • The InventoryEngine: for stocktaking

In accounting: the BookingEngine

In CRM: the ActionEngine

By possessing the module corresponding to these engines, you obtain the methods (functions) of the engine and you can program customised applications yourself.

Your code in Mercator

You can write a code or a customised program within Mercator using the engine's functions.

Your code outside Mercator

You can write a code for an application which is outside Mercator but uses its engines. For example, this is the case if you write an application linked to Mercator.
